MediaTroopers co-founder steps down from COO role
Benjamin Truman departs US-facing affiliate business as he looks to pastures new

MediaTroopers co-founder Benjamin Truman has stepped down from the affiliate after more than four years of service.
He established the affiliate with fellow founder Shumilik Segal in May 2019, with Truman serving as chief operating officer and Segal as CEO.
Truman had previously worked in marketing in both the US and Israel and served as CEO of Global and Beyond Technologies prior to launching MediaTroopers.
Segal previously worked for Aspire Global, Playtech and Playtika before partnering with Truman to launch the affiliate.
MediaTroopers is operational in several US states, and boasts offices in Pennsylvania, Malta and the Isle of Man.
In April, the firm expanded its partnership with SCCG Management as it looks to make further inroads into the US.
Taking to LinkedIn, Truman said: “It’s been exciting, it’s been challenging, but most of all, it’s been lots of fun. Although I’ll still be around, it feels a bit like leaving home.
“But it’s not only the team I loved working with. During my time with the company, I’ve also had the chance to work with some fantastic people that work for the biggest names in the online gambling industry, for which I am grateful as well.
“Although I am still going to be a part of MediaTroopers, it’s time for me to pursue my next venture. Still, I’m proud to say that I’m leaving the company in safe hands,” he added.
