
Maxima Compliance appoints industry veteran as director of regulatory and licensing
Ex-Intralot corporate counsel Paola Menachem links up with compliance provider


Maxima Compliance has appointed industry compliance veteran Paola Menachem as the group’s director of regulatory and licensing.
Menachem most recently served as head of gaming and technology at Smithfield Partners solicitors, having joined the group in March 2018 before departing in July of this year.
Prior to that, she served as head of legal affairs at German lottery betting operator Zeal between April 2016 and February 2017.
Menachem also spent 16 years with Intralot in Greece as the group’s corporate counsel from 2000 until she joined Zeal.

Menachem will be responsible for leading the regulatory and licensing team and will report directly to managing director Antonio Zanghi. She will be based in London.
Speaking on Menachem’s arrival, Zanghi said: “Our regulatory and licensing department continues to grow rapidly as more gaming businesses turn to Maxima Compliance to facilitate their entries into new markets, and maintenance in existing ones.
