
Matt Davey to depart Sci Games at end of 2018
Davey to be succeeded by corporate development chief Jordan Levin following successful integration of NYX


SG Digital chief executive Matt Davey is set to leave the the business at the end of the year following the full integration of NYX, it was announced today.
He will be replaced at SG Digital by Jordan Levin, who is currently senior vice president for corporate development at Scientific Games.
Davey departs after 10 months in the role and 15 months after Scientific Games acquired NYX, where Davey was CEO.
It is unclear what his next steps are.
Levin led the acquisition and integration of NYX and previously launched and served as President of SG Interactive.
Levin was also named executive vice- president for Scientific Games where he will define the group’s overall strategic direction.
“Levin will leverage his executive management and leadership expertise, business acumen, in-depth knowledge of digital gaming and sports betting, and ability to foster a culture of success to help the Company capitalize on new opportunities and markets,” Scientific Games said in a statement.
SG Digital has been focusing on the US and its OpenBet sportsbook business in recent months, building a new sportsbook operations team in Gibraltar and buying Don Best, and is understood to still be weighing up further sportsbook acquisitions.
The elevation of Levin was announced today as part of three appointments at SG, with Jim Kennedy, currently chief executive of the Lottery division, becoming president of the division, with his role being taken up by Pat McHugh, who was SVP of global lottery system.
