Matchbook launches brokerage service
Alderney-based betting exchange to provide large and bespoke trades to customers and operators

Matchbook has launched a brand-new service, Matchbook Brokerage, to provide a platform for large and bespoke trades.
Matchbook Brokerage will allow customers to place bets that may not be available on the firm’s traditional Exchange site.
The Matchbook Brokerage team will be available Monday to Sunday and can quote eligible customers prices on a large array of sports or events.
The operator will work alongside a number of counterparties that will lay the bets.
Additionally, the Matchbook Brokerage will also act as a B2B service to operators.
Matchbook’s head of commercial Will Turl said: “At Matchbook, we understand that bettors are frustrated at being stake factored by bookmakers or are unable to find the liquidity in the market for their bets.
“For these customers, we are delighted to be able to launch the Matchbook Brokerage service. This is the service that the betting industry has been begging for and Matchbook is pleased to deliver it,” he added.
The new product has been live for several weeks, with notable interest in player prop markets, according to the operator.
During the NBA Finals, the platform facilitated 26 bets totalling over $100,000 (£81,535) in stakes, with also some “notable action” during Royal Ascot.
