Mansion inks Newbury racecourse sponsorship deal
Sports betting operator to sponsor Grade 1 Challow Hurdle in new two-year deal

MansionBet has agreed a deal to sponsor the forthcoming Grade 1 Challow Hurdle and supporting card at Newbury on Tuesday 29 December.
The arrangement forms part of a new two-year agreement between the sports betting brand and the racecourse and includes further support of the MansionBet Spring Cup in 2021.
In addition to sponsoring the MansionBet Challow Hurdle Day for the next two years, the online sportsbook will also sponsor two other racedays in 2021 at Newbury.
This also includes the MansionBet January Afternoon Racing on Wednesday 20 January, and the Spring Cup which forms part of Newbury’s flat season opener, the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials weekend.
“We are delighted to continue our support of British racing in 2021, which includes Newbury Racecourse. We are particularly excited to be taking over the sponsorship of the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle in both 2020 and 2021,” Mansion CMO David Murphy said.
“We’ve taken huge strides forward with our racing product over the last year and continue to make significant improvements to deliver the best offering to our customers,” he added.
MansionBet has extended existing sponsorship agreements for more than 60 racing events throughout the UK and Ireland over the past 12 months.
“Challow Hurdle Day is one of our most popular racedays of the year and MansionBet are a perfect partner for the festive event,” Newbury Racecourse sponsorship manager Lara Johnston said.
“It is even more positive that this year we are able to welcome back a limited crowd to enjoy the live action.
“Our relationship with MansionBet has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years and, as we look forward to a more optimistic 2021, having their support is very important to us,” she added.
