Malta to host 2024 Gaming Regulators European Forum
Prestigious event to take place between 20 and 22 May with regulators from 35 countries set to attend following Norwegian base last year

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) will host the annual Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) conference this year.
The event, established in 1989, will take place in Malta between 20 and 22 May and will see over 90 representatives from 35 countries share their expertise as well as discuss what is on the horizon for the online gaming industry.
On top of that, regulators will address the issues and challenges ongoing in the sector.
Last year’s GREF conference was held in the Norwegian city of Bergen
Kinga Warda, MGA’s chief officer for policy and international affairs, said the regulator was keen to welcome other governing bodies to the country to work together and push the industry forward.
Warda said: “We are honoured to be chosen as the host for the upcoming annual conference of GREF.
“This event presents a unique platform for regulators to come together, exchange knowledge and collectively address the evolving challenges within our industry.
“We look forward to welcoming esteemed regulators from across Europe to Malta, as we strive to further strengthen collaboration and drive regulatory excellence.”
In November, the GREF and its American equivalent, the North America Gaming Regulators Association (NAGRA) announced a closer working partnership.
The two bodies will host joint meetings as the relationship will bring around 100 regulators from both continents together.
