LiveScore Group marks Pride Month with LGBTQIA+ network launch
Iridian to provide safe space and education tools as company expands inclusivity strategy

LiveScore Group has marked Pride Month with the launch of a new in-house LGBTQIA+ and Allies network called Iridian.
Iridian has launched across the firm’s offices in Stoke-on-Trent, London, Gibraltar, Galway, Vienna and Malta.
The network has launched with the aim of providing a safe and inclusive space for staff.
Iridian will also operate as an educational tool and a representative totem pole for LGBTQIA+ throughout the company.
The LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet operator has also opened up an internal feedback loop for staff to recommend actions for the network to take.
In tandem with the launch of Iridian, LiveScore Group sponsored Stoke-on-Trent Pride festival earlier this month as part of its commitment to social responsibility.
Elsewhere, the operator has also published an internal transgender policy to support trans colleagues and ensure they are not disadvantaged in the workplace.
The firm has committed to not tolerating “discrimination, victimisation or harassment based on a person’s gender identity, gender expression or trans status”.
Speaking to EGR, LiveScore Group chief people officer Matthew Garratt said: “The Iridian Employee Group holds immense significance within LiveScore Group for several reasons.
“Firstly, Iridian represents the rich tapestry of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and allies present at LiveScore Group, helping to nurture an environment that embraces and supports every individual, empowering them to reach their full potential in their careers and lives.
“Secondly, it serves as a crucial wellspring of knowledge and awareness within the company. An example of this is our transgender policy, which was shaped through the invaluable first-hand experiences shared by our employees. This ensures that the policy genuinely caters to the needs of the company and its workforce, going beyond mere superficial gestures.
“Ultimately, Iridian’s importance signifies our desire to champion diversity, equality and inclusion not only within our company but also the wider industry. Its presence and influence inspire positive transformation and effectively foster our cultural values, enabling us to celebrate each and every employee as a brilliant individual, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity,” Garratt added.
