LiveScore Group head of media leaves firm after five years
Rob Brown to establish his own consultancy following pivotal role with firm across various departments

LiveScore Group head of media Rob Brown has departed the firm after more than five years across senior leadership positions.
Brown originally joined the company when it was still owned by Gamesys Group back in December 2017, as a commercial director for the LiveScore media site.
In January 2020, Brown was appointed as head of LiveScore TV with a remit to oversee the company’s livestreaming launch and rights acquisition.
Then, in January 2021, Brown was named head of media for LiveScore Group, which saw him take a multi-pronged approach to developing the company.
Brown was responsible for leading the development of LiveScore’s social media strategy, livestreaming plans, editorial content and external and internal comms.
He also played a key role in launching LiveScore Group’s apprenticeship programme during his time with the company.
The former Racing Post head has now established his own consultancy service, R Brown Consulting, for firms across media, sports and technology sectors.
Brown said: “The Champions League reaches its finale this weekend and it feels a fitting moment to share the news that after five fantastic years, I’ve recently bid farewell to LiveScore Group.
“It’s been quite the ride ever since walking in as the first London-based LiveScore employee in December 2017, and I leave with a rich list of fond memories and many long-lasting friendships with colleagues and partners alike.
“Fuelled by my experiences at LiveScore and those before it, now feels the perfect time to launch and develop my own business. I’m excited to be able to advise and consult with ambitious organisations in the world of media, sport and technology during such rapidly changing times,” he concluded.
Earlier this year, LiveScore Group promoted four new heads of department as the company looks to cement its growth ambitions.
