
LiveScore appoints ex-Sony head to lead Asia division
Timothy Oh has been named as LiveScore’s first senior hire in the region, where he will be tasked with spearheading growth for the business

LiveScore has appointed former Sony Entertainment exec Timothy Oh as regional director for Asia-Pacific.
Oh’s arrival marks LiveScore Group’s first senior hire in the region in its entire 25-year history, as the company ramps up efforts to expand its presence across Asia.
He will be responsible for overseeing the group’s media and scores platform LiveScore. LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet are sportsbooks that are live in the UK, Ireland and Nigeria.
Oh joins the privately owned firm after a seven-year stint at Microgaming, where he juggled the duties of both GM for North Asia and global director of growth and marketing between 2017 and 2024.
During that time, he also oversaw 70% of Microgaming’s Asia-Pacific operations, having relocated to the firm’s Taipei offices.
Oh’s time at the supplier marked his first foray into the igaming sector. Beforehand he held an array of titles with several different media organisations, including just shy of three years as Sony Entertainment’s marketing manager for its Asia-Pacific and Japan division.
Reflecting on his new position at LiveScore, Oh said: “I’m thrilled to return to my media roots, having worked across radio, television, film and gaming throughout my career.
“Joining LiveScore adds a new and exciting dimension to my journey, as I now step into the world of sports.

The business has heralded Oh’s appointment as “invaluable” to the company.
