LeoVegas Group global chief marketing officer departs
Niklas Lindahl confirms exit on social media after playing key role in Swedish firm’s global expansion since heading up marketing division in 2021

LeoVegas Group global chief marketing officer Niklas Lindahl has departed the Swedish operator after almost six years of service.
Lindahl, who has served as global chief marketing officer since August 2021, confirmed his departure from the MGM Resorts International-owned firm on LinkedIn.
The Swede first joined the operator in April 2018 as managing director for Italy? before being promoted to become head of Malta Gaming Authority markets for the firm in February 2020.
Following a 12-month spell heading up the division, Lindahl transitioned to become general manager for Europe and North America.
He was then named global chief marketing officer in August 2021.
As CMO, Lindahl played a key role in expanding LeoVegas Group’s brand presence, including securing partnerships with Manchester City and Inter Milan.
Other highlights from his time running the division included building out the marketing team, shifting the majority of marketing spend to digital channels and helping drive revenue growth in core markets.
Taking to LinkedIn, Lindhal said: “Thank you for the most amazing five years in my career.
“It has been a great ride. I will miss you all. LeoVegas is a one-of–kind company. Having worked there has been a privilege.”
Lindhal also singled out LeoVegas Group CEO Gustaf Hagman in his farewell remarks.
He said: “Thank you for giving me the chance to enter the industry and thank you for showing me what leadership is all about. You are a true example to us all. I will miss you.”
Lindahl’s departure comes following two new hires for the BetMGM UK company.
Former PokerStars head Ben Ingham was snapped up to become the group’s UK country manager last week while ex-Entain head James Elliot was named director of legal in January.
