LeoVegas adds ex-Betway head as Canada country manager
Jacob Hargaden-Llewellin links up with MGM-owned firm following spell with Soft2Bet

LeoVegas has named former ComeOn Group and Betway head Jacob Hargaden-Llewellin as its new Canada country manager.
Hargaden-Llewellin joins the operator from Soft2Bet where he was country manager for Canada and Ireland since March 2022.
Prior to joining the supplier, Hargaden-Llewellin served as ComeOn Group’s Canada country manager between July 2020 and March 2022.
The former Kindred Group analyst cut his teeth in the Canadian market with Betway between October 2018 and June 2020.
He originally joined the online-only firm as a casino games publisher before being named Canada country executive in June 2019.
Chris Welch, LeoVegas chief commercial officer, said: “I would like to wish a warm welcome to Jacob as Canada country manager, including building on our success in Ontario with the LeoVegas and Royal Panda brands.
“Jacob brings with him a rich experience of operating in the market and we wish him every success as LeoVegas continues its growth journey as part of MGM Resorts International,” he added.
Hargaden-Llewellin said: “I had a wonderful time at Soft2Bet and am grateful for the opportunity they gave me – it was a sad day stepping away from the country team that has been formed by the marvellous Peter Christian Noer. I believe that S2B will continue trucking on to being one of the biggest names in this industry – 100%.”
Hargaden-Llewellin’s appointment follows that of Dario Poiese as LeoVegas’ new director of Italy and rest of the world.
