Legacy 8 Gaming acquires WinTrillions
Investment firm purchases lottery operator’s three brands for undisclosed sum

Investment firm Legacy 8 Gaming has acquired lottery operator WinTrillions and its three brands for an undisclosed sum, EGR Intel has learned.
Legacy 8 purchased 100% of the share capital of WinTrillions, LottoKings and Trillionario, which offer customers the chance to buy tickets for official lotteries throughout the world via its messenger service.
According to Legacy 8, WinTrillions has been profitable since its inception and has a diverse customer base across LatAm and European markets which presents a “strong platform” for continued growth.
“The acquisition of these three brands allows Legacy 8 to enhance WinTrillions’ strong underlying metrics by investing further in digital marketing and business intelligence and leveraging its technical infrastructure which is capable of supporting significant growth in customer activity,” Adam Arviv, Legacy 8 CEO, said.
“Our vision is to continue innovating in the lottery industry and allow customers to participate in global jackpots in a safe and secure way,” he added.
Research firm Technavio has estimated the lottery market to be worth approximately US$250bn, with less than 10% online and set to grow at a CAGR of 9% between 2017 and 2021.
Bahamas-registered Legacy 8 said it was looking to become a global leader in the gaming and lottery space.
The firm said it aims to enhance shareholder value by identifying complementary online gaming and entertainment gaming businesses and providing them with its technology and marketing expertise.
Legacy 8 also said it has a shareholder base of “highly experienced industry experts” who have built some of the industry’s biggest gaming companies, including the largest Caribbean lottery operator.
