Launches and sign-ups extra 20 February 2015
A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including Realistic Games and NYX Gaming Group
Casino developer Realistic Games has signed a distribution deal with platform provider NYX Gaming Group. The deal will see Realistic’s full portfolio of online casino titles distributed via the NYX only gaming server, and Realistic’s own ReGaL server has been integrated into NYX’s platform.
The deal will allow Realistic to supply its titles to NYX customers such as Unibet, Betsson, Mr Green and Leo Vegas, and Realistic Games commercial director Andy Harris said the deal was “strategically important” for the firm.
“I think NYX Gaming Group and Realistic are very like-minded and we share aspirations to be the leaders in our respective fields. This will ensure the deal is a great success,” Harris said.
Norweigian operator Norsk Tipping has released a new lottery product in conjunction with Genera Networks. Nabolaget – or The Neighbours – was first launched earlier this month with a televised drawing every Friday night.
The product offers entrants the chance to win up to NOK1m and the draw is televised alongside a programme featuring Norwegian celebrity Alex Rosen travelling to different neighbourhoods in the country to present special prizes.
“We are confident that the game’s combination of simplicity, wide distribution, and high entertainment value will greatly contribute to Norway’s own neighbourly humanitarian efforts,” Genera Networks CEO Maria Sandell said.
Realistic Games has launched a brand new slot title named Colour of Money this week. The three-reel arcade styled slot has been launched simultaneously on desktop, smartphone and tablet and is now available across various operators.
Colour of Money is the first in a trio of new slots to be launched this spring, while the supplier also intends to rollout a new table game to licensees in the coming months.
“[Colour of Money] is the first of many new games that we’ll be releasing this year as we strive to deliver the best multi-channel content on the market,” Realistic Games commercial director Andy Harris said.
The Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) has launched a new website and included a new myths vs facts section that allows the not-for-profit organisation to respond to false information about the egaming sector.
The new website highlights the IGC’s history since its founding in 1996 and advocates regulation of the sector in order to promote fair and responsible online gambling.
“In a business as politically sensitive as interactive gambling, it is important to have an informative website,” said IGC chief executive Keith Furlong. “The new myths and facts page allows the industry to dispel inaccuracies spread by individuals and groups that oppose the inevitable evolution of online gaming.”
