A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including IWG, Quickspin and Habanero


Swedish slots supplier Quickspin has debuted new game Second Strike across more than 7,700 Ladbrokes terminals – the studio’s first shop-focused product following its acquisition by Playtech.
Designed specifically for the UK retail market with specific USPs for retail players, but also available to play online and on mobile, Second Strike is a brand new £500, 10-winline jackpot slot game.
The game was developed in close collaboration between two Playtech studios, Quickspin and Psiclone that specialises in retail slot games and technology.
Quickspin developed the original game and worked with Psiclone to convert the game to UK retail specifications and in line with UK regulations.
IWG has announced the launch of two new titles based on the popular ITV2 show, Love Island.
The Love Island 7×7 and Love Island Bonus games sees the player become matchmaker, giving them the chance to win if they match up to seven symbols in a row.
The titles are available to play online at the newly launched site LoveIslandgames.com, powered by Gaming Realms, along with IWG’s full portfolio of games.

SmartBets, the customisable odds comparison site, has expanded its Scandinavian horizons after launching in Sweden, making it the fifth language available on the platform.
It’s also the first ever customisable odds platform in the Nordic country, as SmartBets continues its growth across Europe.
SmartBets is now available in English, Danish, Italian, German and Swedish.

Betway has been announced as a key sponsor for ESL One Cologne 2017, the world’s biggest CS:GO tournament, from 7 to 9 July.
The partnership will see Betway add live odds to the broadcast, compiled by its team of expert eSports traders.
Viewers will be able to use the odds feed to see an accurate, real-time demonstration of how the balance of power changes throughout the various matches at the tournament.

Content from slots and table games provider Habanero is now live with one of Belgium’s leading online casinos, starcasino.be.
The company’s 75 video slots titles have been made available to the operator’s customers across a wide range of desktop and mobile devices.
Among them will be Habanero’s latest releases Panda Panda, Bird of Thunder, and Fire Rooster.

Kindred Group has announced new sponsorship deals with Aston Villa FC and Warwickshire County Cricket Club as the operator looks to strengthen its position in the UK market.
The firm’s partnership with Aston Villa will see its Unibet brand sponsor the club’s home and away shirts for the 2017-18 campaign, while the logo will also adorn the front of the club’s Ladies’ team shirts.
