Ladbrokes extends Challenge Cup partnership
Operator agrees one-year deal to sponsor rugby league cup competition

Ladbrokes has agreed a one-year extension with the Rugby Football League to continue as sponsors of the Challenge Cup.
The operator announced the extension to its current deal on Monday, ahead of the 2017 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final between Hull FC and Wigan Warriors on Saturday.
The sportsbook said it hopes to capitalise on the competition’s growing fan base after a record number of matches were shown on the BBC and Sky Sports this season.
Ladbrokes chief executive Jim Mullen said: “Our decision to sponsor the Challenge Cup was an easy one.
“We want our name to be associated with prestigious, passionate sporting events and this ticks those boxes, so it was a no brainer when it came to extending our association with the game.”
Rugby Football League chief commercial officer Roger Draper added: “I am delighted that Ladbrokes have decided to extend their current partnership and that they recognise the value in being involved with such a prestigious and well-regarded competition.”
