Ladbrokes Coral unveils new tech hub
New Stratford office to house 140 tech and product staff with plans to hire more in the pipeline

Ladbrokes Coral has revealed plans to merge its Stratford-based sports product and technology operations and relocate the new team to a new office in the nearby Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Dubbed LC2, the 140 staff-strong team will move into the Here East technology hub in Stratford, alongside BT Sport, Signal Noise, and Ford’s European Smart Mobility Innovation office.
The new office will be comprised of software engineers, analysts, architects and sports product specialists who will be tasked with delivering CRM and ePOS operations, and maintaining the digital sportsbook platform.
Additional staff will be brought on to help the firm further differentiate its products in the marketplace and develop new projects.
A Ladbrokes Coral statement said LC2 would aim to unite the operator’s best sports and technology talent to deliver an “unrivalled and memorable sports betting experience“.
Graham Calder, Ladbrokes Coral CIO, said: “With the creation of LC2 our goal is to deliver excellence for our customers by leveraging the best digital technology, to hire the best digital talent to build the best digital future.”
Here East CEO Gavin Poole added: “As Here East continues to draw in innovators from more and more sectors, Ladbrokes Coral’s new digital product development centre fits well within the campus.
“Their newly joined up sport-technology team builds on Here East’s reputation as a centre of innovation for established companies and start-ups to collaborate, test new ideas, prototype new products and learn from each other’s expertise.”
