Ladbrokes Australia launches “industry-first” multi-sport bet builder
Operator partners with Sportcast for new Multiverse product

Ladbrokes Australia has launched an “industry-first” acca-building platform that lets punters create bets with legs from multiple sports and multiple markets within an event.
The so-called Multiverse product is powered by Sportcast, the developer of the BetBuilder product recently launched at other GVC brands including bwin and Sportingbet.
For example, a punter could combine a horse to win the Melbourne Cup, with the L.A. Lakers to win by 20+ points and Lebron James to score 30+ points.
Existing automated bet building products have constrained punters to selections in the same game.
Ladbrokes Australia’s CMO, Jason Kibsgaard, said Multiverse was an “important leap” for the company and punters.
“We pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries when it comes to offering our customers the best possible product and I am sure all who use it will agree, Multiverse gives the punter a new and exciting way to punt like they’ve never been able to before.
“Partnering with Sportcast creates new opportunities to leverage cutting edge technology and deliver both a fantastic same game multi product and an experience like no other.”
The product has been initially launched across NRL, AFL, NBA and soccer with additional sports soon to follow.
Ladbrokes Australia previously utilized Digital Sports Tech’s same-game acca technology.
Sportcast commercial director Ryan Coombs added: “We are delighted to partner with Ladbrokes Australia in redefining user experiences within the industry.
“Multiverse demonstrates the flexibility of Sportcast’s technology in offering a unique and seamless betting experience without the limitations punters have had to endure in the past.”
