Ladbrokes signs one-game betting partnership with Fleetwood Town
UK operator seizes sponsorship opportunity ahead of BBC One’s Saturday lunchtime broadcast of “the Jamie Vardy derby”

Ladbrokes has announced a deal to sponsor League One football club Fleetwood Town for their third round FA Cup tie with Leicester City on Saturday.
The one-match deal will see the UK operator become the team’s official sleeve partner and Ladbrokes branding will appear on LED perimeter advertising throughout the match.
The partnership will also give Ladbrokes a prominent presence on Fleetwood Town’s official social media channels to support betting activity prior to the match.
Ladbrokes representatives will also have the opportunity to nominate the Man of the Match and present the winner with a bottle of champagne pitch-side at end of the game.
Michael Sheehan, head of partnerships at Ladbrokes said: “We’re thrilled to be forming this partnership with Fleetwood Town football club for the FA Cup third round.
“It promises to be an exciting game, especially with the return of Jamie Vardy to his old stomping ground, and we would like to wish the manager, the players and the fans the very best of luck.”
Sun Bets struck a similar one-match deal with Sutton United last season, but the stunt backfired when the firm were investigated by the UK Gambling Commission over a pie-eating incident involving Sutton goalkeeper Wayne Shaw.
