KSA cautions Holland Casino over advertising in-play bets on Eredivisie.nl
Dutch regulator issues warning yet rules no violation took place during the latest round of fixtures in the Dutch football league

The Dutch Gambling Authority (KSA) has issued a warning to Holland Casino for offering online betting via ads on Eredivisie.nl while matches were in progress.
The regulator was informed that the operator in question had offered odds during various football matches on Eredivisie.nl.
The KSA investigation, which took place over the weekend, found that upon clicking on the odds, it would take the user to the operator’s website and bets could be placed on those matches.
The Netherlands has a whistle-to-whistle ban on betting advertising around football matches, however, unlike the UK, that restriction extends to online advertising as well.
Licensed operators are prohibited from advertising bets on sports competitions just before, during or immediately after, which the regulator says is to protect people watching the match or checking the results from making “impulsive” bets.
The KSA did rule, however, that during the new round in the Eredivisie, that started on Tuesday, showed that no violation took place.
In November, the regulator had pulled down Facebook group Dordtse Queens for organising illegal online bingo. The KSA found that Dordtse Queens’ eight administrators were advertising online bingo through their respective Facebook pages.
Holland Casino has yet to respond after being contacted by EGR.
