Kindred Group names interim CFO in C-level reshuffle
Patrick Kortman to replace Johan Wilsby while Usha Ganesan and Neil Banbury also drafted into senior leadership team

Kindred Group has named finance stalwart Patrick Kortman as its new chief financial officer, effective today.
Kortman will replace the outgoing Johan Wilsby, who announced his decision to depart the Stockholm-listed operator in May.
Kortman originally joined Kindred in September 2018 as head of corporate development.
In February 2021, he was also named head of investor relations. Kortman will now step up to a C-level position for the first time in his career.
Wilsby will continue to support Kindred’s executive team until he departs in Q3.
Elsewhere, the company has made two more interim positions as it looks to plug the gap left by its departing C-level team.
Chief of staff Usha Ganesan has been named interim chief finance operations officer while UK general manager Neil Banbury has been appointed interim chief commercial and marketing officer.
Kindred noted all three appointments would remain as interim until its strategic review is concluded.
Nils Andén, Kindred’s interim CEO, said: “I am delighted that we can maintain momentum and consistency across the company during this period, thanks to our excellent senior leaders and strong employee base.”
The flurry of interim appointments come after several members of Kindred’s top team announced their departures, including CEO Henrik Tjärnström, chief marketing officer Elen Barber and chief commercial officer Anne-Jaap Snijders.
