Kindred Group named among top UK tech companies to work for
Unibet and 32Red operator secures third successive year in Great Place to Work ranking for large-sized firms
Kindred Group has been selected as one of the top tech companies to work for in the UK.
Great Place to Work named the Stockholm-listed operator in the top 22 large technology workplaces in the UK for 2021 following data collection from company employees.
The engagement survey measures the extent to which employees across the organisation reported a positive workplace experience, taking in factors such as physical and mental wellbeing and trust in leadership.
The survey revealed 93% of Kindred’s UK employees think it is a friendly place to work while 88% would recommend working there to others.
Additionally, 85% of respondents said they were proud to tell others they worked for the firm and 81% felt they were actively encouraged to balance their work and personal lives.
The award means Kindred has secured a spot in the best tech companies in the UK for the third consecutive year after its 21st place finish this year, having ranked 10th in both 2020 and 2019.
Gavin Hayward, Kindred chief HR officer, said: “We are extremely proud to receive this recognition for the third year running. The pandemic has tested us, and we’ve had to manage big changes in personal and professional lives.
“At Kindred, we have invested in training for our employees on how to manage remote working, their own mental health and avoid burnout. We have also trained managers to support the mental health of their teams,” he added.
