Kindred Group's head of brand departs after 11 years
Mateusz Samolyk calls time on decade-plus stint with Unibet parent company after progressing from initial campaign manager role

Kindred Group veteran Mateusz Samolyk has left the Stockholm-listed firm after more than 11 years.
The firm’s head of brand and sponsorship insight announced his decision to step down today, 7 August.
Having joined the company in March 2012 as a campaign manager, Samolyk took on a further four positions at Kindred in his decade-plus spell.
In December 2012, he was promoted to acquisition and promotion specialist before being named brand manager in April 2015.
Following that position, Samolyk was appointed brand and sponsorship insight lead in October 2019.
His final role with the group as head of brand and sponsorship insight began in September 2020.
Touching on his departure, Samolyk said: “After just over 11 years at Kindred Group, the time has come for me to move on. It feels a bit surreal but I look back and I’m really grateful and happy. Staying this long probably says it all, but here are a few things.
“I got to work in a business that’s changed so much and so many times and always grow with it. A business that set the direction for the sector.
“I’ve met people who taught me so much and always had my back. You know who you are. Thank you.
“I got to work in what I’m most passionate about, brand and sponsorship. On some of the biggest and coolest brands in the sector, and hopefully making them even cooler.
“11 is my favourite number on roulette and so it’s only right that, after hitting that number at Kindred, that I take my chips, go to the bar and think about my next play. After all, it’s good to take a break after a win,” he concluded.
