Kambi bolsters Spanish presence with Acrismatic deal
Land-based casino operator becomes second Spanish partner of Unibet's B2B arm.

Unibet’s B2B subsidiary Kambi Sports Solutions has signed a deal to supply Spanish land-based casino operator Grupo Acrismatic with a complete sports betting solution ahead of the issuing of licences to operate in the market.
Under the terms of the exclusive, two-year deal, Kambi will provide odds compilation, risk management , customer profiling and a sports betting platform, with the site set to launch ahead of the start of the 2012-13 La Liga football season in August 2012.
“It is excellent news for us that, in competition with other suppliers, we have been selected as a supplier to one of Spain’s leading casino groups. By using Kambi’s sportsbook solution, Acrismatic will be perfectly positioned to compete profitably and successfully in the re-regulated Spanish sports betting market,” Kambi’s CEO Kristian Nylèn commented.
It bolsters Kambi’s presence in Spain, where they are already partnered with Paf, who have seen revenues soar since signing the original deal in February 2010, propelling the à land-based operator into the top ten of last year’s Power 50 rankings.
The company also has a presence in Asia, having signed a deal with AsianLogic to supply its Superscore and Supertoto products for the operator’s Dafbet brand.
Grupo Acrismatic is Spain’s fifth-largest land-based casino operator, with 36 years’ experience in the sector. It is the leading operator in the Valencia region, with two casinos and over two thousand points of sale. It was originally solely a gaming machine manufacturer before it moved onto the operator side in 1992.
Last week parent company Unibet’s CEO Henrik Tjärnström credited Kambi as one of the key drivers behind the operator’s successful first quarter results.
