Kambi hires new senior VP of investor relations and sustainability
Mattias Frithiof joins Stockholm-listed supplier as CFO David Kenyon praises the firm’s latest addition for his “invaluable” experience

Kambi has appointed former Swedbank analyst Mattias Frithiof as senior vice-president of investor relations and sustainability.
He will officially start his role today, 16 January, and be based out of Stockholm.
Frithiof joins Kambi from audiobook and ebook streaming services firm Storytel, where he has served as head of investor relations since August 2023.
Prior to that, he spent three years between August 2020 and August 2023 with Moody’s Investors Service as its assistant vice-president of analysis.
He also spent seven-and-a-half years across two roles with Swedbank. From January 2013 to March 2018, Frithiof was an investor relations officer before stepping into a senior credit analyst position from April 2018 to July 2020.
In his role with the sportsbook supplier, Frithiof will be tasked with leading and executing the firm’s investor relations strategy, as well as building on existing relationships with investors and key stakeholders.
He will also communicate Kambi’s financial performance and growth strategy analysts and shareholders as well as heading up the business’ CSR strategy.
Frithiof will report to CFO David Kenyon, who said the newcomer’s investor relations background will be “invaluable” to Kambi.
Kenyon said: “We are delighted to welcome Mattias to Kambi. His extensive experience in investor relations, coupled with his strong financial background, will be invaluable as we seek to create greater shareholder value.
“As we continue to strengthen our position as a leader in the global sports betting market, Mattias will play a key role in ensuring our investor communications and sustainability initiatives remain best-in-class and aligned with our strategic goals.”
Frithiof added: “I am delighted to join Kambi at an exciting time for the company and to be part of its next phase of development.
“I look forward to building upon Kambi’s close relations with investors and other stakeholders, further establishing an IR department that matches Kambi’s high standards and ambition.”
Frithiof’s addition is the latest from the supplier as it continues to bolster its ranks after several appointments in the last seven months.
Those include Werner Becher as its new CEO, chief commercial officer Sarah Robertson and chief people officer Brian Dean.
