Kambi hires former BetStars exec to lead new analytics team
Francesco Borgosano has five years of sportsbook analytics experience having worked at BetStars and Ladbrokes

Kambi has hired former BetStars head of sportsbook solutions, Francesco Borgosano, to lead its newly created analytics department.
Borgosano will act as chief analytics officer and report to deputy CEO, Erik Logdberg, at the sportsbook supplier’s Stockholm office.
The analytics team will develop data products and quant models in trading and risk management. The department was previously split across the organisation.
Prior to his three-year stint at The Stars Group, Borgosano was a quantitative analyst at Ladbrokes for two years.
Speaking to EGR, Logdberg said: “Data is transforming our industry all the way from UX to risk management and with that you have to quickly transform your business.
“With the skills and experience Francesco brings to the platform that the CAO position offers, we feel we are perfectly set up to make this change fast and successfully,” Logdberg added.
Borgosano said: “With its deep pool of talent and best-in-class sportsbook platform, Kambi is a fantastic business, so I am naturally excited about having the opportunity to work with the team and to strengthen and guide its analytics strategy.
The sportsbook provider yesterday announced it was developing a sportsbook for Ninja Casino-owner Global Gaming, with launch scheduled for Q4.
