Social casino developer says it is acquiring 1.5 million new customers every month
KamaGames has reported a 63% rise in 2017 revenues to of $57.5m thanks to new player acquisition and improved revenue from existing users.
The social casino developer said it is now acquiring an average of 1.5 million new players every month thanks to partnerships with the likes of YooZoo Games and Poker Night in America.
KamaGames MD Andrey Kuznetsov said a key goal for 2018 was to continue to grow the white label business which powers these partnerships.
“We would ideally look to emulate the type of success that Playtech have enjoyed but obviously through the social gaming business and on a smaller scale,” Kuznetsov said. “To start with at least.”
Elsewhere, ARPPU grew by 30% throughout 2017 with the share of paying users growing by 6% in the same time period.
Kuznetsov praised the firm’s improved social mechanics, including a new Party mode, table-side chat and animated emojis that can be sent during the game.
“We are very proud to be able to say that the company has grown at an unprecedented rate for the last 6 consecutive quarters, something we feel is a rarity in the current market place,” Kuznetsov added.
“Looking specifically at the areas of growth, the key points of note would be that the quality of our portfolio has improved, we have released a number of new products and we are executing more aggressive marketing campaigns.”
The firm’s flagship title Pokerist, is currently ranked around the No.3 spot within social poker mobile games, alongside Zynga Poker and WSOP from Playtika when it comes to daily active users and revenue.
