KamaGames revenues up 33% on strength of product innovations
Social casino operator hails impact of new Multi-Table Tournaments feature
KamaGames has reported a 33% rise in FY18 revenues to $57.5m, on the strength of improved personalization and new products.
The firm more than doubled the growth of the wider social casino market which grew at 15% in 2018, according to Eilers & Krejcik Gaming.
Kama said its personalized promotional campaigns for players saw an increase in the number of paying users, as well as the average revenue per paying user (ARPPU).
A variety of new products including a slots title also boosted revenues, while the firm said Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) were “one of the most well received additions to the KamaGames portfolio in 2018”.
DAUs grew 23.5% to 630,000 in 2018.
KamaGames CEO Andrey Kuznetsov said the firm would continuing to grow its social casino portfolio and enter new markets with regionally popular card games.
“We are also looking forward to being able to make a number of key partnership announcements with some well-known global brands through the year. 2019 is going to be another very exciting year for KamaGames”.
Kuznetsov added: “App Annie predicts that, by the end of 2019, mobile gaming will continue to grow and reach 60% market share of consumer game spending.
“KamaGames will be a significant part of this growth and are committed to further improved user retention and engagement in our gaming portfolio but the continued creation of quality, innovative content, the personalization of game events and the increased socialization between players.”
