Kama Games launches MTTs and Split Bet Poker
Social poker firm upgrades flagship Pokerist title with two new formats

KamaGames has announced a major update to its flagship Pokerist title, with the launch of a brand new game, Split Bet Poker and the addition of the Multi-Table Tournaments (MTT).
The Dublin-headquartered firm said MTTs have always been hugely popular in the real money online poker rooms, but have not appeared in a social casino title until now.
These tournaments follow traditional poker mechanics, and see players progress through tables, potentially wining up to 20-times their initial buy-in.
The launch comes after a 2-week testing period for MTTs, where Kama saw the number of concurrent players online increase by 17%.
The firm said MTTs engendered a completely different style of play from customers.
“Players take their time and choose a more strategic approach to get to the final table and potentially win the tournament. This adds a completely new type of play to our existing portfolio,” Kama told EGR.
The firm has also added Split Bet Poker to its Pokerist app, where players use three player cards and two community cards, and can cut down on their bets if their hands don’t develop how they hope.
According to KamaGames: “Split Bet Poker is one of the most favourable games for players as they can scale back bets in the middle of a deal and, best of all, the payouts can reach up to 1000:1 with the highest combination.”
Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of KamaGames, added: “We have made an ongoing commitment to our players to continue to innovate through a variety of game formats and playing experiences and these two launches are a great example of that. Having over 530,000 Daily Active Users means there are host of different kinds of players who enjoy our games.
“This means that as an operator, we need to offer them a wide variety of tournaments, games and different ways to play allowing every player to choose the content that suits them and their playing style.”
