Kaizen Gaming scores second Brazilian football sponsorship
Greek operator bolsters Betano brand presence in South America after securing agreement with Fluminense

Kaizen Gaming has continued its football sponsorship spree after inking an agreement with Brazilian top-tier club Fluminense.
Under the remit of the agreement, Kaizen Gaming’s Betano sports betting brand will be afforded front-of-shirt sponsorship space on Fluminense’s jerseys.
The Betano branding made its debut on the Rio de Janeiro club’s shirts on 2 June in a 2-0 win over Red Bull Bragantino in the Copa do Brasil.
In addition to front-of-shirt branding space, Betano and Fluminense will work together on several social responsibly activations throughout Brazil.
The agreement represents Kaizen Gaming’s second sponsorship deal in the Brazilian football market, having put pen to paper on a deal with Atlético Mineiro in January.
Panos Konstantopoulos, Kaizen Gaming CMO, said: “This partnership marks our commitment in the Brazilian market. We look forward to seeing the Betano brand in the legendary Maracanã.”
Mário Bittencourt, Fluminense president, added: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Betano as the team’s main sponsor. I am particularly happy that Betano understands the greatness of our club and I am sure that together we will celebrate many victories and distinctions.”
Speaking to EGR Intel, Kaizen Gaming CEO George Daskalakis revealed the secrets behind the group’s expansive sponsorship portfolio.
He said: “A lot of the credit for the success of our sponsorships goes to our marketing teams which do not simply sit on a sponsorship contract. They continuously seek new ways to create exciting experiences for the fans; to implement joint social responsibility activities with the club.
“They always respect the history of clubs and try to promote it in the best possible way. This ultimately creates a sense of loyalty to our brand, which is obviously quite important, especially in new markets,” he added.
