Kaizen Gaming names new deputy CEO and chief product officer
Betano and Stoiximan parent company hands new roles to Aris Dimarakis and Christos Tzalavras to support CEO George Daskalakis

Kaizen Gaming has named COO Aris Dimarakis as deputy CEO while also promoting 12-year company stalwart Christos Tzalavras to chief product officer.
Dimarakis will take on his new remit from 1 June while retaining his COO role.
The exec is a founding member of the Kaizen Gaming senior leadership team, having joined the business as chief technology officer in December 2008.
In September 2021, he was promoted to COO where he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operations in Europe, the Americas and Africa.
The promotion to chief product officer marks Tzalavras’ first C-level role in his career and a ninth promotion in 12 years with the Greek operator.
He originally joined the business in a customer service role in 2012 before shifting to the marketing team in May 2014.
December 2018 saw Tzalavras named head of marketing and communications, before adding head of commercial for the Stoiximan brand to his remit in April 2020.

Another promotion in January 2021 pushed Tzalavras into a commercial director role and 10 months later he transitioned to director of product.
He currently serves as the firm’s senior director of sports, having taken the role on in April 2023.
Speaking on the dual promotion, Kaizen Gaming CEO George Daskalakis said: “Aris has been an integral part of this growth journey all these years.
“Possessing a deep understanding of the industry, the technology and the values that make Kaizen Gaming unique, I am confident in his ability to scale our operations and set the company up for future success.
“As for Christos, with his proven track record, keen commercial mindset and marketing expertise, he is the perfect choice for chief product officer.
“Having risen through the company ranks throughout the years, Christos is one of the best examples of our ‘Kaizen – continuous improvement’ mindset. Both Aris and Christos will be key figures in continuing our upward momentum,” he added.
Elsewhere, the Betano parent company has opened a new office in Sofia to add to its Kaizen Gaming Campus HQ in Athens and a tech hub in Lisbon.
Betano has also launched in the UK via a white-label partnership with BVGroup and has penned a two-year front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with Aston Villa.
