Kaizen Gaming eyes 2022 opening of brand-new Athens HQ
Operator begins work on 100,000 sq ft ‘Kaizen Campus’ plot amid intention to move to hybrid working model from September

Kaizen Gaming has begun construction of new state-of-the-art headquarters on the outskirts of Athens.
The opening date for ‘Kaizen Campus’ has been scheduled for June 2022 and the building should become home to more than 800 employees.
The site is located in Marousi, 13km north east of Athens city centre and the project is being run by Greek real-estate development giant Dimand SA.
The plot is more than 100,000 sq ft and the net office space along with adjoining restaurants will be more than 80,000 sq ft over three levels, with a further 75,000 sq ft of underground space.
All operational functions will be managed from the new building, which has been developed to help accommodate Kaizen’s growth in recent years.
The Stoiximan and Betano operator expects to employ 1,800 staff by the time the new HQ opens its doors next year.
Kaizen is preparing to launch a hybrid working model from September after the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of remote and home working.
Kaizen Gaming CEO George Daskalakis said: “Though the pandemic may have been the catalyst for the sharp rise of remote working, it is far from the only reason to work from home. Remote working offers several advantages and is clearly here to stay.
“At the same time, we believe a lot in the importance of working together at the office as well. Our culture, the separation of home from work and, most importantly, live human interactions and the building of interpersonal connections are some of the key reasons that make us feel this way.”
