Julian Buhagiar joins XDA as non-executive director
RB Capital founder added to new financial platform provider’s ranks as it plans continued global expansion

Industry investor Julian Buhagiar has joined newly launched XDA.io as a non-executive director as the firm plans to accelerate its levels of growth and innovation across the industry.
Buhagiar co-founded M&A and investment brokerage firm RB Capital in June 2014 alongside Ben Robinson, and became a general partner in Yolo Investments in January 2016.
He has been added to XDA’s ranks to “provide invaluable insights and guidance” as the company looks to solidify its position as a banking and crypto services provider in the finance and gaming sectors.
Andria Evripidou, XDA.io CEO and founder, hailed the appointment and impact Buhagiar will have on the company going forward.
Evripidou said: “The impact of having someone of Julian’s calibre and deep knowledge of the gaming and fintech industry joining XDA cannot be overstated.
“With Julian’s guidance, we’ll be well placed to achieve our ambitious goals for XDA in the coming months.”
On his new appointment, Buhagiar added: “It’s truly an exciting time to be joining the team at XDA as its position in the industry continues to strengthen.
“I have a lot of respect for Andria and her team, who have quickly established XDA as the go-to destination for banking and crypto services for an ever-increasing proportion of the gaming and finance industry.”
Buhagiar recently provided EGR with insight into how a bond market implosion could impact leveraged igaming companies.
