Jelly Entertainment acquires German social gaming supplier
UK-based firm looks to expand omnichannel capabilities with addition of Wundermachine

Game developer Jelly Entertainment has completed the acquisition of social gaming supplier Wundermachine.
The UK-based supplier has moved to expand its offering with the acquisition of the German brand for an undisclosed fee.
Jelly said the deal would be a “differentiator for the real-money game developer as it adds more talented staff, proven technology and industry-leading, platform-level tools”.
Founded in 2020, Jelly will now use Wundermachine’s capabilities to expand its omnichannel offering as it plots new global expansion.
Following the completion of the deal, current Wundermachine staff will remain at the company’s Bochum office.
David Newstead, Jelly MD, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Wundermachine team into the Jelly family.
“They will be integral to Jelly’s ambitious growth as we enter new regulated markets across Europe, Latam, North America and Canada.
“The business has the foundations to really push on and deliver its aggressive expansion plan for the next 12 months. I am very confident that this partnership will be a great fit, and the team look forward to working alongside the creative minds they’ve proven to be,” he added.
Bjorn Kaufmann, Wundermachine CEO, commented: “Wundermachine was built to optimise the game development lifecycle; the team has honed its product and technology skills with some of the most successful companies in real-money and social gaming.
“We’re passionate people, about what we do and how we deliver it. Together, we are certain that, as part of Jelly, our teams will flourish.”
