Inspired Entertainment taps ex-Kambi head as CCO
Ian Freeman heads to US firm from FSBTech to lead commercial efforts for its virtuals division

Inspired Entertainment has named former Kambi and FSBTech exec Ian Freeman as the new chief commercial officer (CCO) of its virtuals division.
Freeman will officially join the US-based supplier on 16 November.
He moves to the group from FSBTech where he most recently served as chief revenue officer between November 2020 and September 2023.
Freeman previously spent 20 months with IGT as VP of global business development.
He also served as group commercial officer at EveryMatrix between December 2017 and March 2019, and prior to that spent five years with Kambi as chief commercial officer from October 2012 to November 2017.
In his new role with Inspired Entertainment, Freeman will be responsible for the “innovation, delivery and growth of Inspired’s virtual sports products”.
He will replace Steve Rogers as Inspired’s virtuals CCO.
Rogers will depart the company after more than 25 years of service to pursue other opportunities.
Brooks Pierce, Inspired Entertainment CEO, welcomed Freeman as an “invaluable” addition to the company.
He said: “With a proven track record in commercial, operational and technical areas, Ian brings the perfect balance of capabilities needed to elevate our virtual sports business to the next level.
“Virtual sports is a key driver of the growth strategy of Inspired and we are excited to add Ian to this key leadership role.”
Brooks also praised Freeman’s predecessor Rogers when commenting on the transition.
The CEO continued: “I would like to thank Steve for his many contributions to the company over the years. He has been a big part of our success. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
