F2P supplier to use funding to expand global footprint across US, Asia, Africa and Latam

Free-to-play (F2P) predictor site Inside The Pocket (ITP) has secured $4m (£3.1m) of investment from a consortium led by investor Winsure Global .
ITP, which offers prediction games across basketball, football, cricket and American football, aims to use the investment to expand its global offering as a customer acquisition and retention tool.
The funding comes ahead of a Series A funding round later this year which the firm says will bolster “its reach into untapped territories”.
ITP is aiming to roll out its F2P offering across the US, Asia, Africa and Latam.
The Rokker Network and its CEO Andy Rogers also partook in the round.
ITP CEO Hussain Naqi, who has previously worked in various SVP roles at the Jacksonville Jaguars, said: “ITP provides the most modular and democratised strategic F2P platform around, assembling the best minds and models for a new era in sports fan engagement, localised to specific global markets.”
“It’s a real validation to be backed on our journey by such proven players, many of whom have fantastic track records in building, investing and marshalling innovative digital companies to larger scale and leadership positions in the ever-evolving global gaming landscape,” he added.
James Bridges, director at Winsure Global, added: “ITP’s offering, on both B2B and B2C fronts, immediately improves and delivers a step change for F2P aggregation, so it’s another strong story for Winsure to get behind.”
