
IGP lands former Aspire Global VP as new deputy CEO
Industry veteran Jovana Popovic Canaki joins the supplier to work under CEO Giovanni Paticchio after two-year spell with Aspire Global

IGP has appointed Jovana Popovic Canaki as the company’s new deputy CEO as the supplier looks strengthen its hand as part of its “ongoing expansion drive”.
She will work report directly to iGP CEO Giovanni Paticchio, assisting the company with delivering services including its crypto casino solution.
Most recently, Popovic Canaki served as vice-president of partner success at Aspire Global for two years from May 2022.
Before that, she was managing director at Masterpiece Gaming from February 2021 to May 2022 and spent eight years at Oryx Gaming, a subsidiary of Bragg Gaming Group.
Working for Oryx between January 2013 and February 2021, Popovic Canaki had a spell in operations before working her way up to head of turnkey solutions, eventually culminating in the role of director of business unit igaming platform and services from April 2019 to her departure.

Popovic Canaki’s appointment represents iGP’s latest senior hire this year as part of a personnel restructure at the top of the business.
In January, the company hired Inesa Glazaite as its new chief commercial officer (CCO) and Michael Baker-Mosley as chief marketing officer (CMO).
