IC360 appoints ex-Betway global head of trading as senior adviser
Former Betway global head of trading and ex-IBIA chair, John Russell, becomes latest IC360 appointment, as he is expected to help integrity compliance firm navigate new markets

Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) has appointed former Betway Group director and ex-International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) chair Jon Russell as its newest senior adviser.
IC360’s latest addition brings a significant amount of industry experience to the role, having spent a decade in senior positions within Betway.
Russell arrived at the bookmaker in 2013 as global head of trading, a title he held for almost a decade, before seeing out the final nine months of his Betway tenure as a director, tasked with developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive the Super Group-owned firm’s growth.
Russell simultaneously served as chair of the IBIA between 2019 and 2024, operating out of the organisation’s Brussels headquarters.
Prior to Betway, he spent just shy of 13 years as head of football trading, initially for Sporting Index’s fixed-odds arm, Sporting Odds, before the company was acquired by Sportingbet in 2002.
He has also held roles at William Hill, Spreadex, Victor Chandler and Ladbrokes over the course of a career in the industry spanning almost 30 years.
On his new job, Russell said: “I am thrilled to join IC360, a company that has rapidly established itself as a global leader in providing compliance, education, training and integrity services to sportsbooks and sports organisations.
“I look forward to contributing to IC360’s continued international growth and playing a part in safeguarding the integrity of sports competition at all levels.”
Scott Sadin, IC360’s COO, added: “We are so pleased to welcome Jon to the team.
“His impressive skillset and ability to navigate the sports integrity industry in various jurisdictions will allow us to better understand new markets we hope to embrace in the upcoming year.”
Russell’s appointment comes one month after IC360 named Bill Pascrell III as another special adviser, with the company heralding the Entain Foundation US board trustee as “one of the nation’s [the US] top experts” across sports betting and casino.
