Huddle lands ex-PokerStars manager as VP compliance
Zeljka Perkovic joins AI and data-led B2B firm after more than 10 years with Flutter Entertainment-owned poker operator

Sports betting B2B start-up Huddle has appointed former PokerStars compliance manager Zeljka Perkovic as its new VP compliance.
Perkovic joins Huddle after spending more than a decade with PokerStars from May 2011 to October 2021, culminating in her role as senior compliance manager.
She will oversee all compliance issues at the start-up as she makes the step up to her first presidential role.
Perkovic will be based in the Isle of Man and will work closely alongside Huddle co-founders Francesco Borgosano, Leo Gaspar and Mario Zdelican.
Last year, the three former SimpleBet executives secured $3m in seed funding to support their new data-driven sports betting platform.
To date, the platform has introduced an automated in-play and pre-match pricing tool for a variety of sports.
The start-up’s next product will monitor customer betting activity and introduce risk-adjusted pricing to automate managed trading services.
Speaking on her arrival, Perkovic said: “Huddle is building something really special and I’m thrilled to join.
“We clicked from the moment we had our first call and the passion and drive Francesco, Leo and Mario have is infectious.
“They are building a culture of empowerment, enabling everyone to push the boundaries towards a common purpose and it’s a fantastic place to be,” she added.
Borgosano commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Zeljka to Huddle. She brings great experience from her many years in the sector and will be a hugely valuable member of our growing team.”
