Hero Gaming chief people officer set for exit after nearly five years
Marie Theobald announces departure from role to move across to Rhino Entertainment Group

Hero Gaming’s chief people officer Marie Theobald has announced she is stepping down from the role to take up a new position at Rhino Entertainment Group.
Theobald has been in the role for nearly five years since joining the firm in January 2018, and it was her first job in the igaming sector.
She joined the firm after over five-and-a-half years as senior HR manager and organisational development at telecoms provider GO.
Theobald also spent time as HR manager and talent acquisition manager at Corinthia Hotels between November 2008 and November 2012.
Before these positions, she spent time at the Bank of Valetta and ST Microelectronics.
Her new role is with Rhino Entertainment Group, which provides igaming companies with the platform requirements and the tools to support their operations and boost revenue.
In a post on LinkedIn, Theobald said: “After nearly five years at Hero Gaming, I have decided to take on a new challenge.
“I am extremely thankful to have been part of such a great company, the people I’ve worked with and the lessons I’ve learnt. Over the years, we worked relentlessly, together with the brilliant HR team, leadership team and the employees, to build a solid culture and a strong foundation for the business to continue in its growth path.”
Theobald’s departure comes amid a swathe of senior changes at Hero Gaming following the appointments of David Borg as chief operating officer and Andrea Saliba director of people and culture.
