Jeff Butler links up with the Isle of Man-based operator as it looks to shake up online poker industry

Heath Cram-led poker startup 4Poker has onboarded former Microgaming head Jeff Butler as the firm’s managing director of finance.
Butler joins the Isle of Man-based operator after more than three years with Mayfly Entertainment as director of payments.
Mayfly Entertainment supplies sports betting and igaming products to the Asian market, with Butler overseeing the payments division from October 2019 until earlier this month.
Prior to joining Mayfly, Butler served as chief financial officer at Xela Holdings, a white-label firm based out of the Isle of Man.
Butler cut his teeth in the industry at Microgaming between November 2010 and March 2017 in the supplier’s business development and commercial division.
Butler now joins 4Poker to oversee its financial arm and support its planned growth.
In August 2022, EGR exclusively revealed the startup had onboarded former Flutter international senior director of operations Heath Cram as chief operating officer (COO).
4Poker is operating a player-centric strategy focusing on responsibility and integrity with an emphasis on creating stability and scalability over financial growth.
The operator soft launched in Q4 2022 to a handful of players during a trial phase.
At the time of his appointment, Cram said: “It was hard to resist the contagious passion and energy of the 4Poker team.
“I’m really excited to be joining such a focused team of poker players creating a new platform for players and being part of what is shaping up to be the second online poker boom,” he added.
