GVC’s Eurobet named Operator of the Year at EGR Italy Awards 2019
Betsson and bet365 also pick up headline awards at last night’s ceremony in Rome
GVC’s Eurobet brand has been crowned Operator of the Year at last night’s EGR Italy Awards in Rome.
Eurobet beat out Sisal and Betsson in the ceremony’s headline category after a strong year of growth and innovation despite a challenging regulatory environment.
Bet365 picked up the gong for Sports Betting Operator after dominating monthly market share charts in Italy, while Sisal won the Mobile Operator of the Year award.
Betsson was named Casino Operator of the Year.
The winners
The awards were held Thursday night at the prestigious Rome Cavalieri, with more than 210 industry luminaries in attendance.
