GVC promotes Adam Lewis and Mark Chambers to new-look MD positions
Kenny Alexander hails the depth of GVC talent pool as he looks in-house to replace Andy Hornby and Mark Kemp

GVC Holdings has restructured its executive team by creating two new managing director roles following the departures of Ladbrokes Coral COO Andy Hornby and UK digital MD Mark Kemp.
GVC CMO Adam Lewis will fill the newly-created MD for digital role, while MD of UK retail Mark Chambers has been promoted to MD for retail across the entire group.
Lewis will lead the London-listed operator’s digital businesses globally with the exception of GVC’s US joint venture with MGM, while Chambers will add leadership of the Italian retail business, as well as health and safety, to his current responsibilities.
GVC CEO Kenny Alexander said the two MD appointments would demonstrate the depth and strength of GVC’s talent pool.

“I’m very pleased to announce the appointments of Adam Lewis and Mark Chambers as the managing directors of our Digital and Retail businesses,” said Alexander.
“Both are first class executives with huge experience in their respective fields and they will provide both continuity and leadership as we drive our business forward and complete the migration of Ladbrokes Coral onto our proprietary technology platform.
“I’d like to thank Mark Kemp for the exceptional contribution he has made to the GVC and Ladbrokes Coral businesses.
“His lasting legacy will be a UK digital business in great shape and a rejuvenated Ladbrokes digital brand which has delivered excellent recent growth,” he added.
GVC co-COO Hornby is leaving to take over as CEO of The Restaurant Group, while Kemp is headed for Alizeti Group as UK MD of Together for the Tote.
