GVC crowned Operator of the Year for second consecutive time
London-listed firm received judges’ plaudits for "remarkable top line momentum” despite distractions from the Ladbrokes Coral integration

GVC was crowned Operator of the Year at last night’s EGR Operator Awards in London, with the London-listed firm beating out nine rivals in the ceremony’s headline category.
Judges praised GVC’s “remarkable top line momentum” despite distractions from the Ladbrokes Coral integration, with the firm also adhering to, and arguably leading, responsible gambling initiatives.
GVC’s partypoker brand also triumphed in the Poker Operator category at the awards, held at the Grosvenor Hotel last night
GVC’s head of CSR and corporate communications Jay Dossetter said: “We are delighted to win Operator of the Year for the second year running, as well as picking up the crown for poker operator for the third time in a row.
“The EGR awards are the biggest night in the calendar for the online gaming industry so to come out on top is a huge tribute to the skills and hard work of all of our people. It caps a great year for GVC which has seen the business go from strength to strength. Congratulations to all of our people.”
Elsewhere bet365 took home the award for Sports Betting Operator of the year, one of three trophies on the night for the Stoke-headquartered operator, along with Mobile Sports Product and In-play Sports Operator.
Sky Betting and Gaming earned gongs for Football Betting Operator and Horseracing Betting Operator, while Kindred picked up three awards and Betsson two.
