Golden Nugget Online Gaming gains New York market access
Online casino operator secures 20-year strategic partnership with Tioga Downs in Upstate New York

Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) has joined Penn National Gaming (PNG) in this week securing second-skin access for mobile betting in New York.
The operator has forged a 20-year strategic partnership with Tioga Downs Casino, which also partners with FanDuel on retail betting at its upstate racetrack, while PointsBet has another second-skin agreement with the property dating back to 2018.
GNOG’s access in New York is dependent on whether lawmakers will allow casino licensees to offer multiple sports betting skins to commercial operators.
Governor Andrew Cuomo has expressed his support at operating a state-run mobile betting monopoly but he has yet to release details on his plan.
GNOG president Thomas Winter said: “New York is key to our growth strategy and we look forward to the state embracing online gaming. We will remain focused on securing new market access partners in more US states.
“With its iconic brand, superior product and award-winning operations, GNOG is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the exponential growth of online gaming in the US,” he added.
Tioga Downs owner Jeffery Gural said: “I’m confident GNOG will bring an exciting product to my home state of New York and together we will generate excellent new revenue streams for GNOG, Tioga and the state of New York.”
PNG signed a second-skin agreement this week via a partnership with Rush Street Gaming, which operates Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady
