GlobalBet enters the NFT marketplace
NFT collection to be presented on the world’s first online NFT marketplace Opensea.io

Virtual sports firm GlobalBet has broken new ground by becoming the first igaming provider to enter the non-fungible tokens (NFT) marketplace.
GlobalBet, which currently offers a full portfolio of virtual sports games to customers across the globe including football, tennis, horseracing and basketball, has launched its own NFT collection “GlobalBet NFT Pro League” on the NFT marketplace Opensea.io.
Opensea.io is the first online marketplace for NFTs such as collectibles, gaming items and other virtual goods backed by a blockchain. It is a peer-to-peer NFT marketplace where every individual can buy, sell and create crypto collectibles.
GlobalBet founder and CEO Daniel Grabher explained: “This is a huge step for GlobalBet stretching forward into new areas for igaming companies.
“GlobalBet has always had digital art at heart, all of the artwork of the NFT collections are designed by our in-house multinational art and graphics team. The first limited collection consists of three NFT Pro League series that will soon be available for purchase.”
A limited number of cards’ collection are planned to be out after the initial launch, and it will also be offered on the in-house NFT marketplace.
GlobalBet has offices in Spain, Malta, Liechtenstein, Nigeria and Ukraine and last month celebrated the opening of its new headquarters in Vienna.
