Global Gaming sharpens Sweden focus with new brand
Operator also hires new media agency to increase marketing ahead of forthcoming regulation

Malmo-based operator Global Gaming has launched a new Sweden-facing brand dubbed Spellandet.com.
The beta version of the site went live earlier this month featuring payment-provider Trustly’s no-registration PayNPlay solution, similar to the operator’s flagship Ninja Casino brand.
However, Spellandet.com also requires players to input their mobile number as well as their electronic ID number to register an account.
Analyst firm Redeye said in a note last week that users were also able to limit how much they played on the site and track how much they had wagered.
The operator has also partnered with Swedish media agency Tre Kronor Media to market its newest brand and boost its presence in the jurisdiction ahead of the forthcoming regulation in January 2019.
Morten Madsen, CMO of Global Gaming, said: “Partnering with Tre Kronor Media is a natural development for Global Gaming.
“Considering our unprecedented organic growth in Sweden, where we have taken a significant share of the market, utilising Tre Kronor Media’s expertise directly follows our current strategy of including high quality internal and external expertise,” he added.
