Global Gaming crowned Operator of the Year at EGR Nordics Awards
Malmo-based firm picks up headline award as MRG Group takes home three gongs

Global Gaming has been crowned Operator of the Year at the 2019 EGR Nordics Awards.
The Malmo-based firm beat out eight other nominees in the headline category, gaining plaudits from judges for the growth of its flagship Ninja Casino brand.
“This is a wonderful way to kick off 2019, and it starts what should be a really exciting year for Global Gaming,” said Global Gaming CEO Joacim Möller.
“I’d personally like to congratulate the whole team who have each played their part in us securing industry recognition once again. It’s an exciting time for everyone involved at Global Gaming and we’re already looking ahead to build on this success.”
The ceremony was held last night at the Corinthia Hotel, St George’s Bay in Malta.
MRG Group was another big winner on the night, picking up three awards for Socially Responsible Operator, Mobile Operator and Affiliate Program.
“Mr Green has worked intensely with Green Gaming or responsible gaming since its inception 10 years ago,” said CEO Jesper Kärrbrink. “The award ‘Socially Responsible Operator of the Year’ was therefore one of the most important categories at the event.”
Kindred Group picked up two awards for Marketing Campaign and Sports Betting Operator.
SBTech won the Sports Betting Supplier gong, with chief development officer Andy Cochrane hailing the strong heritage and successful track record in the Nordics.
