
Global Gaming CEO steps down for new innovation role
Stefan Olsson voluntarily takes on new position with current COO Joacim Möller promoted to acting-CEO


Global Gaming CEO Stefan Olsson is to take up a new role in the company as head of a newly-established innovation role, it was announced today.
The move, which will take effect on 1 May, was made at Olsson’s own request according to Global Gaming.
The change will also see current COO Joacim Möller promoted to acting-CEO.
Global Gaming chairman Peter Eidensjö said the decision was made to help build a “durable and sustainable organisation”.
“We intend to take advantage of our tremendous growth and work by the principle that everyone should do what they are best at,” Eidensjö said.
“With his unique mix of development, technical innovation and entrepreneurship, Stefan has clearly shown us the way and done a fantastic job. With the reorganisation, we are just making sure we stay ahead of the game”.

Olsson has overseen a period of significant growth at the Malmo-based firm, with operating profits up 943% in 2017 SEK 122m (£10.7m).
The firm also launched a new Sweden-facing brand this week and appointed a new media agency to boost its presence in the jurisdiction ahead of forthcoming regulation in January 2019.
