Glitnor Group acquires LuckyCasino for Sweden push
Newly established operator, led by Unibet veteran Johan Königslehner, aims to tap into PayNPlay trend

Glitnor Group has acquired the LuckyCasino brand from Fortuity Holdings, the parent company of Viral Interactive, in an effort to establish a presence in the Swedish market ahead of upcoming regulation.
The newly established Glitnor Group plans to tap into the new wave of quick registration and withdrawal products being powered by Trustly’s PayNPlay process in Sweden and Finland.
Glitnor Group CEO, Johan Königslehner, said: “We are tapping into the fast growing pay and play concept developing in Sweden and Finland with no account creation needed and instant withdrawals.
“We believe this concept is part of the future and shall be successful in the regulated Swedish market next year,” he said.
Malta-based Glitnor Group was established in January 2018 by a group of industry veterans, including Königslehner who was previously CEO of Jackpotjoy’s Vera&John Casino brand and coordinator of cooperation projects at Unibet.
The firm was registered with Companies House in Malta in April 2018 and is headquartered in Ta’ xbiex.
As part of the deal, former CEO for Viral Interactive, Daniel Eriksson will join Glitnor Group as head of business development.
Eriksson said the move would see him drive Glitnor’s business development efforts during a period of growth.
