GIG unveils “most disruptive sportsbook platform of the last decade”
Product will be launched on Rizk.com before being offered as a B2B solution to other operators

Gaming Innovation Group has launched an entirely in-house built sportsbook platform claiming it is the most disruptive product of its type of the last decade.
The platform is initially being used to power the Norwegian firm’s Rizk.com casino site, before being offered up to B2B partners.
GIG Sports includes a proprietary pricing system which head of sports, Endre Nesset, said will offer unique odds and markets to users, as well as “never suspend markets”.
“We have a team with an analytical approach to bet placement and [this system] is built on the same algorithms,” Nesset told EGR.
“And we are not afraid to take our own stance and price events up in our own way. We won’t use the market as a reference point.”
The product is made up of a back-end system, an odds feed and odds aggregation system and front-end solution.
Nesset said the three-part technology would be offered as a B2B solution in coming months.
“Operators will have the freedom to personalise their offering to optimise the user experience,” Nesset said. “This way they can focus on marketing their brands and driving revenue.
“We believe our trading tool is more responsive than anything out there. We are poised to disrupt the market in a big way and are extremely confident that we will make a huge difference to the way sports betting is experienced today – and in the future.”
The new platform stemmed from the 2016 acquisition of odds compiling technology firm, OddsModel, which has since grown into the operator’s sports arm with over 100 members of staff.
Competing operators Betsson, Unibet and LeoVegas have updated their own sportsbook offerings in time for the world cup.
